After some voice-modulated poems, the character “Scrypts” debuted on the November 22nd edition of NXT. Turns out, it’s premiere 24/7 flip champion, Reggie. The crowd knew it the moment Scrypts flipped on the scene.
Why is this on Oh, Wrestling? Because look at that mask. It’s such a professional wrestling mask. Don’t get me wrong, I love silly masks, but man-oh-man, is that one of the silliest. Maybe it’s the tassels. Wait, it’s definitely the tassels.
The fact that it is Reggie, a crowd favorite and spectacle in his own right, under that mask makes it even sillier. I don’t think it’s necessary attire, but time will tell. In the meantime, let’s revel in this odd costume choice, shake our collective heads and say,
“Oh, wrestling…”
